Espresso tamping station

 

Today let us talk about something more interesting, how we manufacturer tamping station. most of high end tamping station are made by stainless steel almost 90%. that is because stainless steel that is because it will not get rust, but some do get rust like 4 series, 420 or 430 that is because higher % of the carbon inside. here are the stainless steel specification.

When we do this parts, we first buy the right thickness of brushed material and we laser cut the outer shape after we create a correct roller and forming die, after we shape the part, we laser weld the side wall, after we grinding off the welding mark after we brush the parts again in order to get the brush finish, this process is also going to take care of the sharp edge that might cut fingers of consumers, again this is very important on this item, no any sharp edge allowed, see detail picture below.

Finally, we have to use sand 200 series paper to radius the shape edge by hands because the inside shape edge is not going to be take care by brushing machine, so in this case we have to use hands piece by piece to radius it.

Timing Pulley 

The manufacturer of this 20 T alloy gear for a 1/12 electric RC car gear electric type of RC, we make this very cheap by using the alloy 7075 bar,  first we cnc turned the parts to the the proper size and then we use gear machines the cut the gear, after we have to use cnc milling again to shape the other end and then using the tumbling machine to brush all the burrs. 

We finish this pulley by hard anodizing, the tolerance is only  0.02 mm very precised, after we do the finish, remember the real hard anodizing color is only one you can call it champagne color like the picture we showed no more.   2021 / 6 / 23

 

 

Arm holder 

We can easily do this holder by aluminum punch press, but the edge will be ugly and the flatness will but way out of customer needed maybe + 0.3 mm,  as the car we are making mostly for racer not the regular consumers so quality must be good, looks like an easy parts to produce but because it is very small how to make every single pc consistent is a challenge.   

We cnc milling the parts 100% and then do the Titanium color anodizing, again this RC parts tolerance is tight 0.02 mm.   2021 / 6 / 19
